This uncommon hybrid combines the compact, dark black-green velvety foliage and strong venation of Anthurium besseae with the broad, heart-shaped leaves and impressive size of A. magnificum. The result is a striking plant with dense, velvety leaves, deeply defined veins, and rich texture that intensifies as it matures. New leaves emerge in deep red tones, gradually hardening through a dark, almost iridescent phase characteristic of besseae.
